Shed: Archive Products
As your Shed account matures, it's common to accumulate products that are no longer part of your active programme — seasonal blends you won't be ordering again, or products you've switched out. Until now, the only way to keep these out of your way was to delete them, which also removed all of their history.
You can now archive products instead. Check out this article for a full walkthrough.
What archiving does
Archiving a product removes it from your day-to-day workflow without deleting anything:
- Hidden from product pickers across Shed
- Removed from the dashboard
- Excluded from most reports by default
- All historical records — receipts, usages, adjustments, transfers, returns and stocktakes — are fully retained
Integrations keep syncing
If the product has rules set up for Agworld or John Deere, those rules remain active. New records from connected farm management systems will still be matched and recorded against the product — it's simply hidden from view by default.
Unarchiving
Archived products can be restored at any time. Navigate to Setup → Products, click the ... button and select Archived Products. Open the product and click Remove from Archive — it will immediately return to your active list.
