Shed: Import stocktakes

Whether it's a paper count sheet from the field or a spreadsheet from a warehouse team, you can now hand that straight to Shed and have it built into a stocktake automatically.

How it works

From the Stocktakes page for a storage, click Import Stocktake and upload a photo, PDF, CSV or XLSX listing your products and quantities. Shed will read the file and extract each line item, matching them against products already in your account where it can.

Review before you complete it

Where products match what's already in your Shed account, they're added to the count automatically. Any unmatched products are flagged for you to review and match up manually. Completing the review discards anything left unmatched.

As with any stocktake, none of this touches your stock levels until you complete it, so you've got a chance to check everything over first.

Next time your team counts stock, skip the manual re-entry and let Shed do the typing for you.
