We're thrilled to announce the release of one of our most requested features in Cart: Managing grain by variety. In addition to some very handy features that this release unlocks in Cart, we've also implemented a tight integration with your Agworld account, meaning varieties are automatically populated using your existing production data - no double data entry required. Let's take a closer look.
Sync Agworld variety with your fields in Cart
The variety integration with Agworld has already been enabled for all existing subscribers, no setup is required. Simply click on the Fields page and you'll see variety listed per field, populated using your Agworld data for each production cycle. As you make changes to your production data in Agworld during planning and sowing, we'll continue to keep Cart up to date so that everything is ready when you start to create contracts and prepare for harvest.
Assign varieties to commodities in on-farm storage
When assigning a commodity to one of your on-farm storage locations, you will now have an option to specify a variety. Once setup, grain delivered into this location will be restricted to fields and other on-farm storage which matches the assigned variety.
