Shed: John Deere Operations Center Integration

Today, we are making Shed's integration with John Deere Operations Center publicly available! Thank you to everyone who participated during our early access program.

Who can access the integration?

The integration is currently available for new sign ups to FarmReady who do not have Agworld connected to their account.

Support for using Shed with both Agworld and John Deere connected is under consideration. Contact us if this is relevant to your business.

What does it do?

This integration connects John Deere's Field Operations with Shed's robust inventory management app, allowing the following:

Automatically deduct stock on hand

When new Field Operations are created in John Deere, they are synced with Shed to record product usage as it occurs.

In addition to field operations created by your connected machines, you can also create manual field operations in the Operations Center mobile apps, allowing you to record all field applications across your farm, regardless of the machinery brand or the technology enabled.

Route usage to the correct product and storage

Eliminate manual product allocation and double data entry erorrs. With our integration rules, you can ensure product usage is correctly allocated to the relevant product and storage in your Shed account.

Keep track of all inventory movements

Whether it's delivery of new chemicals, a month end stocktake or an internal transfer, Shed's core inventory records set your farm business up for real-time visibility of inventory levels.

Know your inventory costs

As field operations are synced with your Shed account, products are deducted from stock on hand using the current moving average cost, helping you understand the financial implication of every field operation.

Manage your compliance

Finally, improve your compliance reporting by tracking batch numbers, date of manufacture and expiry dates for all products received on farm.
